Management Team
Bharat Vagadia - CEO
Bharat has wide ranging policy, regulatory and strategy experience, combining expertise in technical, marketing, commercial, economics and business management disciplines.
Bharat currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Consultant at Op2i Ltd.
He has worked for a wide range of clients in the UK, Western and Eastern Europe, Kenya, Bahrain, Jordan, KSA, Egypt, India, Morocco, Oman, Qatar and UAE. Prior to founding Op2i, Bharat was the Middle East and Asia regional director for a Consulting firm.
Bharat is a Board Director for the UK National Outsourcing Association (NOA).
Bharat is author of a leading book on outsourcing, described by the journal of International Law and Management Review as “a welcome addition to the library of books on outsourcing to India…..unique….designed to be a practical guide to outsourcing more than a theoretical debate of the issues…”
Bharat holds a LLM in Commercial Law, an MBA, a B-Eng and a DipM.
Ross Caldwell - CMO
Ross is a senior manager with broad experience in the development, planning and deployment of state-of-the-art telecom/IT networks and technologies and in the development of business within international technology markets.
Ross currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer and Consultant at Op2i Ltd, where he provides outsourcing consultancy.
Prior to joining Op2i Ross was a director with Proxico, providing IT and telecoms outsourcing and consultancy services to a range of technology companies in mobile communications, directory services and software development. In 2005 Ross directed a team that won the National Outsourcing Award for best use of outsourcing by an SME, working with UK based subcontractors, and an outsource software provider from New Zealand to deliver complex, high quality software products into the Japanese market.
His outsourcing experience comes from both client and supply side and includes: Large scale national/global telecommunications network planning, development, operations and management outsourcing programmes, on-shore call centre outsource services provision , off shore IT development and testing services, and international customer support services.
Ross has wide international experience including IT development consultancy in New Zealand, technology product management and market management in the UK, in-territory business strategy projects in France and Belgium, network planning and development projects in Germany, major Telecom network bids in the UK and Singapore, pan European collaborative technology research projects, consumer product development and marketing experience with product manufacture outsourcing to Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
Ross holds a BCom in Economics and a PG Dip Com in Computer Systems, Quantitative Methods and Production Management.
Tony Fish – Board Advisor
Tony Fish is an experienced, professionally qualified executive and an accomplished public speaker. He has worked on trends and global business issues with numerous organisations, and has particular expertise in the development of innovation through partnership. He has an excellent grasp of strategic and economic issues relating to growth businesses, and their patterns for survival.
Tony is known for delivery, his probing questioning, clear decision making, simple no-nonsense attitude and robust financial views and governance controls. He brings an innovative flare to delivery, deal execution and fund raising. With an enviable professional reputation, he has a wide and diverse professional network.
Tony Fish MBA BEng CEng FIET FCIM has been involved for over 20 years in the Technology Media and Telecoms industries, and has been associated with building hi-tech companies since his first IPO (OFEX) in 1994.
Khimji Vaghjiani – Board Advisor
Khimji was most recently a Director at Westpac Banking Corp in Sydney. In this role he created and drove SME-Hub, a JV with NSW Government to develop innovation activities for commercialisation with planned benefits of $9m - $15m in 2008-09).
He also served as senior consultant for development of Indian Information Technology off-shoring program, including the “India strategy”.
Khimji was also the Head of a VC unit which managed $35M fund for investment into SME technology companies.
Khimji is extremely well connected and has in the past been invited to be part of Trade delegation with Hon. Premier of NSW Mr Bob Carr to India in Nov04. He has been Convener and Executive Director of Australia India Information Industry Business Network.
